About Whale Rock Luxury Lodge

Whale Rock Luxury Lodge is located on a half a hectare premises in Westcliff, Hermanus, known as the Whale Watching Capital of the world. Owners Dave and Anouk Bakker are glad to inform that your host Melanie Musson, together with the Whale Rock team, will continue to look after you during your stay the best way possible and will also welcome your business meeting or other events.

Whale Rock Luxury Lodge boasts stunning lush green gardens and from the entrance garden you have a distant sea view. Whale Rock is literately situated across the road of the New Harbour where all Whale Watching Charters board. Walk out of the gate and you’ll find the beginning of the famous Cliff Path which takes you on foot along the stunning Whale Coast of Hermanus.

With 11 Luxurious individually decorated Rooms Suites, a large solar-heated pool, large lawns and gardens, Whale Rock Luxury Lodge is the perfect retreat for leisure and corporate.

ACCOMMODATION

Deluxe Room:

This cozy bedroom (Room 11) with King Size bed, en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower and under floor heating in the bathroom. The room has a private patio with thatch roof.

Garden Deluxe Rooms:

There are 5 spacious Garden Deluxe Rooms (Room No's 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10). Each room has an en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower. All the rooms also have a semi-private patio from which you can enjoy the tremendous garden.

Sea View Suite:

The Sea View suite (No. 4) is situated on the first floor of the main house. The room has two (2) Queen-size beds, cosy intimate private open lounge and bathroom en-suite with shower as well as a bath. This suite has got a romantic private balcony with distant sea views.

Garden Suites:

The two (2) spacious Garden Suites both consist of a bedroom with private open lounge with cosy fireplace and a bathroom with bath and separate shower. These suites each have a private terrace overlooking the garden and with direct access to our solar-heated lagoon pool.

Executive Honeymoon Suite:

This privately situated Executive Honeymoon Suite (No. 1) boasts of an open bedroom and spacious private lounge, en-suite bathroom with separate shower & bath, a dressing room which could be used as baby/kids (< 4 yrs) room or small office. This luxury Suite has a lovely terrace overlooking the large lush green gardens and direct access to the solar-heated lagoon pool.

Garden Family Suite:

This Garden Family Suite (No. 7) is located in the left wing of our main house on the ground floor with a main bedroom and open lounge. The Suite also has a second bedroom with 2 Single Beds. The spacious suite has a private patio a with direct access to the garden lawn. Both bedrooms have direct access to the en-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Luxury Family Suite:

The situated Luxury Family Suite is a combination of 2 Garden Deluxe Rooms next to each other connected through interlinking doors. The rooms that are interlinked are Room 9 and Room 10. Both rooms are spacious and have an en-suite bathroom with separate shower & bath. The Luxury Family Suite can easily have a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) staying. The Suite has its own private terrace.
