Tilman Valentin "Til" Schweiger is a German actor, voice actor, film director, film producer, and film editor. He runs his own production company, Barefoot Films, in Berlin.
Relax in their remarkably spacious, sophisticated, environmentally friendly suites, set against the tranquil backdrop of the Africa bush. Their private and exclusive units, built on elevated wooden decks, are designed to blend discreetly into the natural environment. Some nestle in the Yellowwood Forest, others are set on the hillside, offering breath-taking views of the reserve. And of course also very important: Excellent beds, where body and mind find peace.
WALK WITH THEIR AFRICAN ELEPHANTS
Guests can enjoy an elephant safari through the diverse valleys, plains and forests of the bushveld, whilst delighting in the flora and fauna. Observe the elephants within their natural environment and capture unforgettable moments with these majestic animals.
Safari Duration: Approximately 1 hour and includes walking with, feeding the elephants and a photo opportunity. The 08h00 and 11h00 encounters include a light snack and refreshments are available. Safari Times: Our safari times are at 08h00, 11h00 and 15h00. Please ensure that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the time. Child Policy: Children may join their parents on an Elephant Encounter accompanied by an elephant handler. We offer a 50% discount for children under the age of 12 years.

Their lodge guests can relish in their newly built dining area. Nestled along the banks of their bachelor elephant’s favourite watering hole which provides guests with the opportunity to unwind, soak in the magnificence of the surroundings and experience some truly memorable encounters with their herd and other wildlife.
All their meals are created with the utmost natural detail to ensure your taste buds are left revitalised and refreshed.
Their Head Chef creates a seasonal menu according to our charmed South African climate. It’s very important that prior to arrival, guests notify them of any pre-existing medical conditions. This includes any food allergies, dietary needs and requirements. Unfortunately they do not offer al la carte.
Lodge Facilities Barefoot Addo is delighted to unveil their newly built lodge entertainment area. The thatched lodge with signature stone cladded walls offers all the comforts of a luxury lodge and is an undisturbed retreat where you can regenerate your soul and tune into the sounds of nature. The view from the lounge / dining area is of the waterhole where monkeys come to play and their elephants come to quench their thirst. The lodge sets the stage for unforgettable African sunsets followed by evenings enjoying bush inspired cuisine and celebrating all that is ‘safari'.

Lodge Grading The lodge has been awarded four stars by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. Bar Bottled water, non-alcoholic beverages, beers, spirits and fine South African wines are available for purchase. Mobile Phones There is intermittent signal at the lodge and on the conservancy. Internet & Television The lodge has a wireless internet connection for the guests’ convenience. There are no televisions in any of their units as they want you to relax and unwind and make the most of your stay.
