Owned and run by veri Italiani (true Italians), Marco Bortolussi and Catia and Daniele Marinelli La Piazza, located at the The Well in Ballito, exudes that authentic European ambience serving scrumptious authentic Italian food from breakfast through lunch to dinner. The decor is clean, chic, contemporary and uncluttered with a touch of quirkiness conducive to laid-back dining.
Immense hospitality is second nature to young host and restaurant owner, Marco, whose Northern Italian origins influence his relaxed approach to welcoming and treating guests like family. No novice to the food game, Marco has been lovingly making Italian food since the tender age of twelve assisting the fifteen-year family-run business. The food is fresh tasting, sense-pleasing and crammed with scrumptious, well-sought ingredients. Both the breakfast and lunch / dinner menus include a wide variety of delicious options and there's an excellent selection of soft drinks, wine, cocktails and other beverages.
In true Italian style, La Piazza is a family friendly restaurant where children are most welcome and encouraged.
