This Game Reserve is an eco-friendly, self-catering lodge situated 20 km from East London in the Eastern Cape. Accommodation is secluded and tucked away on a hillside overlooking lush green valley. We have a fully equipped self-catering cabin that is private, with braai area and covered deck .The cabin is run of a wind turbine so load shedding will not be a problem. Therefore no hairdryers are allowed. Braai wood is on sale . Access to this site is not suitable for non high clearance vehicles.

There are also 9 basic self-catering tents available with a communal kitchen and ablution in split into two differant camps . The top secluded bush tent camp has no 220V electricity. Please note that there are 12v lights in all the living areas but only one 12 V socket for charging in the kitchen running of solar. The kitchen is equipped with a camping fridge/freezers, two plate gas stoves, basin for dishes as well as the basic utensils, cutlery and crockery. There is a bathroom cubicle with gas showers and a flush toilets in the tent camp. Cars can be parked about 20m form the tents. Fire wood can be bought on arrival.The top tent camp can only be reached by high clearance vehicles.
The newly established tents near the entrance of the reserve do have 220V electricity in the communal kitchen area. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic cutlery, crockery and utensils. Refrigerator is also available as well as plenty of places to braai. You can choose between a frame tents or tents on decks. Please bring own drinking water as pir water is a bit brackish.
Attractions in the area include bird watching, game viewing, cycling, mountain biking, game drives and unguided walks. Please note that water is brackish should you prefer to bring your own. Water can be bought from reception in 5Liters.
Preferably you should have a high clearance vehicle . Contact the manager should you not have a high clearance vehicle to confirm current road conditions.
Safari: We have several animals that can be found on your hikes. Giraffe, Eland, zebra, bushbuck and many more. Also a great variety of birds can be observed on the game reserve.
