ABOUT ALLESVERLOREN WINE ESTATE
The Allesverloren vineyards creep up the imposing Kasteelberg in the scenic Riebeek Valley of the Swartland. Our vineyards range from 170m – 350m above sea level and benefit from variance in rainfall of 200mm. Cold and wet winters are followed by warm, dry summers where grapes ripen easily with high concentrations of sugar. The prevailing westerly winds, cool summer afternoons and the shadows of the mountain refresh the vines by late afternoon. These various meso-climates provide the ideal conditions for creating big, robust red wines. The soils on this Swartland farm are a mixture of shale and weathered sandstone – a stony structure which is crucial to the particular character of Allesverloren wines. It accounts for the extraordinary depth which vine roots reach here, thus sustaining strong, healthy vines and resulting in deeply coloured, powerful wines with an excellent concentration of fruit.
Wine Tasting
Join us at Allesverloren for the ultimate wine tasting experience! We have a range of 10 wines, including varietals such as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tinta Barocca, Touringa Naçional and other innovative wines and blends. Our Fine Old Vintage still remains one of the most renowned fortified dessert wines.
Tasting is charged at R35 per person for 5 wines of your choosing. Groups larger than 10 must book in advance. Email: info@allesverloren.co.za

Have A Bite
Pleasant Pheasant is a family-style restaurant located in Riebeek West on the beautiful Allesverloren Wine Estate. Beneath large old oaks, with a beautiful view of the vineyards and the valley, surrounded by beautiful scenery and blue mountains in the background.
The restaurant is a homely, relaxed place with a cozy atmosphere where you can sit snugly around the fireplace on the nice cold winters and in the summer you can enjoy yourself under the beautiful oak trees, where there is also a playground for the children.

WINE ESTATE WEDDING VENUE
Why not exchange vows on the oldest wine estate in the Swartland? Set amidst majestic blue gum trees and picturesque vineyards, the beautiful Allesverloren bush chapel offers spectacular mountain views, excellent cuisine, award-winning wines and a charming reception venue. The 220m² reception hall can accommodate 200 guests with a dance area, or 250 guests without. Custom-made fine teak chairs and round tables covered with crisp white tablecloths ensure an air of elegance and sophistication.
