The lion Park is home to over 80 lions, including the rare white lion and many other carnivores such as cheetah, wild dog, brown hyena, striped hyena, spotted hyena, black-backed jackal, side-striped jackal and a wide variety of antelope, which roam freely in the antelope area.

A self-drive through the main park on an easy to follow route, affords visitors a leisurely experience in the comfort of your own vehicle, where you can see various antelope species, then past the hyena and cheetah enclosures and ending in the four camps which house our lion prides. Our night drives are always a great adventure. We offer an all inclusive guided tour of the Lion Park, including Cub World and you can have the chance to interact with our lion cubs. Then as the sun sets, enjoy a traditional dinner in our boma braai area before heading out under the dark African sky to watch the lions feed.

Hugely popular on Sundays and Public Holidays is our fabulous self-service braai buffet, just outside the restaurant. Booking is essential to avoid disappointment as this is a great family value for money treat.

At The Lion Park we are proudly famous of our “Cub World and Cub Interaction”. We invite you to take a walk through our fascinating “Cub World” and view various animal species. This is hugely popular for all ages, so do not miss out on the unique opportunity to play with the lion cubs and to learn about lions from our well-trained guides. Giraffe feeding is a must on our feeding platform and allows you to touch and fed the giraffe at eye level. Wonderful photo opportunities are encouraged to capture this rare experience forever.

In addition the Lion Park offers excellent picnic and braai facilities. (Bring your own meals). Children can enjoy the children’s playground both at the main restaurant and at the picnic and braai facility area.

We also cater to children’s birthday parties. If you are tired of the old usual and want to experience something different our unique venue allows children to get back to nature in a safe and secure environment. Join us for a fun filled morning or afternoon where the children can play with the lion cubs, feed our tame resident giraffe and go an exciting game drive through the main park.

Add a touch of the “Wildside” to your next conference or function. Let our casual outdoor atmosphere stimulate your employee’s senses as they step out of their usual environment, and enjoy a remarkably different day out, with fresh air casual gear and the chance to get up close and personal meeting Africa’s wildlife. Our lapa is suitable for rustic breakfasts, lunches and dinners-tailor made to suit your requirements. Our facilities cater to small informal conferences, team building and corporate functions, including facilities for an overnight stay with a difference in our “Wildside Tented Camp”.

We can tailor make a package to suit your needs and budget.
