Hunters Rest Mountain Resort

Hunters Rest Mountain Resort is a picturesque sub-tropical country resort nestled between the Magalies Mountains only one and half hour’s drive from Johannesburg or Pretoria.
The resort is amenity rich surrounded by lush gardens and activities to keep the guests occupied. Hunters Rest is a popular family resort where children are well catered for.  A wide range of recreational facilities included interesting hiking trails up the mountain to the Anglo-Boer war forts and into the adjacent Kgaswane Nature Reserve.

• FRIDAY NIGHTS: Mediterranean Themed Buffet - R150 per person for Outside and Hotel guests. 19h00 – 22h00
• SATURDAY POOL BRAAI: – R150 per person Outside and Hotel guests.  12h00 – 14h00
• SUNDAY CHAMPAGNE BREAKFAST R110 per adult, 07h00 – 10h30
• SMORGASBORD SUNDAY LUNCH in the George Wellington Restaurant R140 per person.  12h30 – 14h30

Bookings are essential as guest not staying in the hotel needs to have a breakfast, lunch or dinner booking to be allowed onto the Hunters Rest Hotel Property. 
Christmas & New Year Celebrations

• Christmas Eve “Spit Braai” on our pool deck and under the African sky.
• Traditional Christmas Lunch with all the decadent trimmings, Sunday, 25th December at 12h00 – 15h00
• The “Great Gatsby” 2012 New Year’s Party, Saturday, 31st December. Prizes will be given to best dressed individuals and couple.
