As the winter months creep in and the need for winter woolies, yummy bowls of broth and a crackling warm fire, we seek mind and soul nourishing ideas for our chill out moments.
Recently our team in Jozi and KZN experienced an indulgent, pampering of gourmet delights, where a meal is served as an artists canvas. The carnivorous platter is well rested, instead the diner enjoys a fusion of three or four treats bite size to appease the palate. Impressively, freshly decorated on the plate are herbs snipped from the restaurant herb garden. Main course follows with equal glee, allowing space for the treated dessert.
Most importantly for the extended relax mode are the deliciously needed spa treatment. Guvon Hotels have expanded yet again with a new spa at Kloofzicht Lodge in Muldersdrift.
What better to wrap your day with escapism than the latest Penguin novel.
